The EUt+ Troyes Week focusing on European research will take place from Tuesday 11 July to Thursday 13 July 2023 on the UTT campus.

This last EUt+ physical meeting before summer will be devoted to European research as part of the EUt+ alliance. Two European research Institutes also known as ERI are organising scientific events during these days:

- The European University of Technology Institute of Nanomaterials and Nanotechnologies (EUTINN), headed by Christophe Couteau, director of the research unit L2n - CNRS-EMR 7004 (Light, nanomaterials & nanotechnologies), will be offering an "Introduction to quantum technologies" on the afternoon of Tuesday 11 July 2023 and the morning of Thursday 13 July 2023.

- The European research institute Data Science Lab, headed by Hichem Snoussi, university professor in computer science and deputy director of the research unit LIST3N (Computer Science and Digital Society Laboratory), is holding its 3rd workshop on 'Data Science and Applications' for European researchers and doctoral students, on Wednesday 12 July 2023 in hybrid mode.

Throughout the week, 80 representatives of the EUt+ partner institutions - teachers, researchers, lecturers, administrative staff, post-docs, PhD students and students - will be working in groups, alternating between workshops on the different tasks of the alliance and informal discussions.

In addition, two satellites project groups will meet:

  • Working group on the STYX project (Status and Structure experience) for which UTT is coordinator: exploration of the possibility of a legal status for European alliances, work on a European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation (GECT).
  • Working group on the Ethico satellite project, led by Dublin University of Technology (Ireland): the aim is to design innovative, ethical and ecological teaching methods that can be transferred to the various disciplines of the University of Technology, the arts, humanities and social sciences, from design to engineering and environmental sciences.
