UTT will be welcoming around a hundred participants from the eight European partners in the EUT+ alliance for a working week from 24 to 28 February, focusing on structuring research and setting up the digital ecosystem.
The event will bring together the working groups involved in these areas to discuss the progress made and the alliance's development prospects.
A presentation of mobility opportunities and EUT+ programmes, aimed at UTT students, will take place at the beginning of the week. This session will enable them to gain a better understanding of the possibilities offered by the alliance and to explore the different paths for academic exchanges, discover the opportunities linked to student entrepreneurship and benefit from student testimonials.
A workshop entitled Machine Learning for AI: Theoretical Advances and Practical Applications will be organised by EUT+'s Data Science Institute (DSI). The DSI, which was officially recognised as an EUT+ Research Group (ERG) in September 2024, aims to become a Research Institute (ERI). Its objective is to structure cooperation between researchers, students and companies around data science and artificial intelligence.
The DSI, led at UTT by Hichem Snoussi, is based on a European data platform designed to facilitate collaborative research, technology transfer and the development of advanced analysis tools. It also plays a key role in the interface between academic research and industry, providing a structured framework for collaborations and promoting the joint management of data and artificial intelligence models.
Following the working week, thematic seminars will be organised to identify active research areas, strengthen synergies between partners and encourage the emergence of joint projects.
