María Victoria Soulé is a core member of The European Laboratory For Pedagogical Action - Research And Student-Centred Learning (ELaRA) where she coordinates research fundraising and the compilation of research proposals. She also contributes to the design of workshops aiming to support innovative student-centred pedagogies, changing epistemologies and teaching practices in higher education, and educating students about the role of technology in society.
She has been a postdoctoral researcher at the Language Centre of Cyprus University of Technology since 2015, and a Spanish language instructor (Special Scientist) since 2016. She completed her BA in Classical Studies at the University of Barcelona, an MA in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, an MPhil in Spanish Applied Linguistics and a PhD in Applied Linguistics (Summa Cum Laude) from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED), Spain.
Her current research interests include (a) second language acquisition, (b) plurilingualism, (c) study abroad, (d) internationalisation at home, and (e) Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL). In the last years she has been participating as a researcher in EU and internationally funded research projects.
