Ronja Schneider is an incoming student advisor in the International Office at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences (h_da).
She is responsible for all exchange students coming to study at h_da for one or two semesters and hence also for EUt+ students. Her daily job is is to make them feel at home. Literally, as she supports them to find a room, for example, as well as to register with the city, to learn German and, of course, to mingle with the other exchange students on cultural and social before and during the semester.
As a consequence, Ronja Schneider is involved in WP5 ("Beyond Mobility") and in the Erasmus Common Office. She wants to help to make student mobility easier and more self-evident, as in her eyes, every student should be enabled to go abroad - no matter in what (economic or social) situation he or she is.
Ronja studied Cultural Anthropology in her Master's and spent an Erasmus semester in Estonia, which has strongly shaped her intercultural communication.
