Cristina Mihaela Campian, full Professor at the Technical University of Cluj Napoca, is one of the founding members of the European University of Technology. She started to work on this project in 2019.
She is the Director for Eut+ in the Technical University of Cluj Napoca and the Rector’ Representative in the project.
She leads work package 3, „Common curricula spanning Europe", which contains 5 tasks: 3.1 Building European vocational bachelor’s degrees, 3.2 Integrating existing master’s degrees, 3.3 Apprenticeship and lifelong learning, 3.4 A common laboratory for pedagogical research and student-centred learning and 3.5 Shared project-based learning platforms.
Totally dedicated to this initiative, managing the project at the work package level and inside TUCN, she is a member of the Steering Committee where she actively participates on a weekly basis.
She received a PhD in Civil Engineering in France, after she won a contest for awarding a scholarship of the French Ministry of Education. She held the position of Vice-dean of the Civil Engineering Faculty for 10 years, and now she is the Erasmus+ Office Director of the university. She has published several books and many articles in the field of structural engineering.
