Lidia Galabova works very enthusiastically on the activities and methods for creating and creative knowledge in EUt+ . She is TU Sofia’s liaison of the WP4 focused on reasearch, graduate schools and transfer in order to address global societal challenges. In this regard, Lidia Galabova is working on the dissemination of results and in particularly those related to the policy of Open science (task manager of WP 8.6). All these activities are connected to her qualifications and professional experience that she has as a scientist and administrative manager.
She is Associate Professor in Industrial Management at Technical University of Sofia, Bulgaria, Vice Rector of Research and Development. She teaches courses in industrial management, small business management and entrepreneurship, technological entrepreneurship, knowledge management and innovation management. Her current research interests include innovation, management, human capital and wellbeing, EU and public policy on innovation, human capital, intangibles and intellectual capital in entrepreneurial firms, and the cross-disciplinary links among these.
Along with her research and work in academia Dr. Lidia Galabova is a member of several non-governmental organisations, such as the Union of Scientists in Bulgaria and others. Previously, she took an active role in the organisation and promotion of science communication events, such as Café Scientifique, Science Week, Researchers’ Night. In 2015-2016, she occasionally contributed to the Bulgarian version of the BBC Knowledge issued in Bulgaria.
