Philippa Murray has worked in the educational sector in Ireland for her entire career at both Second and Third Level. She is the holder of a Degree in Human Resource Management which she took while working full-time. She worked closely with the Chief Executive Officer of County Dublin Vocational Education in the establishment of Community Colleges in two large suburbs of Dublin.
She was part of the successful application for the Technological University Dublin an alliance between Dublin Institute of Technology; Tallaght Institute of Technology and Blanchardstown Institute of Technology. The skill and experience acquired during this merger is very pertinent to the present EUt+ Initiative. Throughout her working life, she has been ‘student’ focused, so the "human first" protocol is very clear.
She is a proficient dressmaker, making and wearing her own clothes and finds great satisfaction in the creative process.
