In the next period, the European Commission will support pilot projects for two new instruments in the field of higher education: the common European diploma and the European legal status of European university alliances.
Two projects submitted by EUt+ have been positively evaluated: JEDI – Joint European Degree level in Engineering – Toward a European framework for engineering education and STYX – EUt+ Status and Structure Experience. The JEDI project has been submitted jointly with another Alliance: EELISA. Only 3 European Universities Alliances have had positive evaluations for both calls: ECIU, UNITA and EUt+.
In total, the projects selected within this call bring together over 100 partner institutions (90 of which are universities) and over 190 associated partners, involving 17 Ministries from various European countries, as well as 22 accreditation and quality assurance agencies.
The actions supported with perseverance within the EUt+ alliance, the good results obtained in the planned activities, led to the selection of the two mentioned projects. The projects will start in the Spring of the current year, and run for a period of one year.
